Oscar F. Molin, Jr. moved to the area to attend Clemson
University in 1967. Shortly after
graduating in 1971, he founded Central Contracting Corporation and made the
upstate his home. Since that time, Central
Custom Construction/Central Contracting Corporation has become one of the most
recognized and trusted custom home building names in the area. The company’s custom luxury homes are
scattered throughout Pickens and Oconee counties with a
primary emphasis on Lakes Keowee and Jocassee.
Over 100 homes have been built in the Keowee Key Development alone.
Oscar’s son in law, David Gully joined the “Central”
family in 2002. Also a graduate of Clemson
University, David earned his degree
in Civil Engineering in 1998. David quickly
became successful in the design/build commercial construction sector with
worldwide McDevitt Street Bovis. After eight
years with Bovis, the smaller, more individualized business of custom home
building appealed to David, and he made the move to Seneca. Oscar and David have worked closely together
for three years carrying on the tradition of building luxury custom homes. David is the current president of the
company.
Central Contracting Corporations takes pride in building homes that are not
only aesthetically pleasing, but comfortable to live in. As a small company, we are committed to
offering the personalized attention required to design and build a home that is
uniquely yours. With a long history of
business in the area, we have a broad contact base allowing even the most specific
details to be included in your design.
One of the first steps in planning a new home is the site analysis. Since Oconee
County is in the foothills of the Blue
Ridge Mountains, it offers varying and often challenging site
conditions. We would be glad to visit your lot and do a preliminary site
analysis. With this information, we can evaluate any plans you might have or
begin the designing of a home that compliments your lot. In choosing Central Contracting Corporation
you can be guaranteed a custom building company that is intimately involved
from start to finish.
We welcome you to tour our homes
currently under construction. In
addition, we can arrange tours of past clients’ completed homes. Upon request, we will gladly furnish a list
of client contacts. Several homeowners have allowed us to build their second
home and, in one case, their third and fourth homes here in Oconee
County. Our experience with previous clients is that
“The building process may end, but the friendly relationship
continues.”
